The National Storytelling Festival has been selected as one of Southeast Tourism Society’s Top 20 Events for the month of October 2009.
This prestigious honor recognizes the best events across the Southeast for each month of the year. Nominated events must be in at least their third year and draw an attendance of 1,000 or more.

Now in its 37th year, the National Storytelling Festival is a three-day outdoor festival produced by the International Storytelling Center. It features performances by internationally-known artists who are recognized as the world's premier storytellers.
