"It’s a dark and starless night. The white pavilion glows like a ghost. It’s dead quiet, but for the wind and the crickets and the sound of the storyteller’s voice. It rises and falls, raising hair on the backs of necks. When suddenly…the story villain strikes, and the crowd jumps, screams, giggles. Ghost stories don’t get any better than this." —Southern Living
